How should I wash designer knitwear? +

Always check the care label first. As a general rule: lambswool and merino should be washed at 30C on a delicate or wool cycle, or hand washed. Cotton knitwear can usually handle 40C. Never tumble dry wool knitwear - lay flat to dry. Use a gentle wool detergent.

What is the difference between lambswool, merino, and cotton knitwear? +

Lambswool is soft, warm, and insulating - ideal for colder weather. Merino is finer and softer with natural temperature-regulating properties, comfortable in a wider range of conditions. Cotton knitwear is lighter, better for spring and autumn, and easier to care for. All have their place in a well-rounded wardrobe.
